What is Montelli®?
Montelli® is a solid surface made only by DuPont and is only
available through Bunnings Warehouse. Montelli® benchtops are
custom, made to measure which means you only pay for what you
need.
Montelli® is easy to clean and maintain making it a hygienic
choice for your family. There are 10 stunning colours to choose
from designed to co-ordinate with any Kitchen and all offered
at an affordable price.
The given artificial stone combines all properties of Corian:
hardness, stability impacts, nonporous, seamless connections,
durability, and stability to aggressive environments.
Thickness of the material is 12 mm. Color scale of Montelli
artificial stone totals to 56 colors. Montelli intends for manufacturing
kitchen surfaces, bar counters, table tops for bathrooms, table, and
direct forms of window sills.
Advantages
Easy to clean:
Use soap water or cleanser may remove any dirt.
Simple to maintain:
It is non-porous, any liquid cannot penetrate. Tough stain and minor scratches may be easy erased using scotch pad or sand paper
Extremely sanitary:
No joint gap, no porosity, there is no place to trap dirt such as mildew bacteria or other microbes.
Hygienic:
Because it is a non-porous material, bacteria and mould have nowhere to hide.
Renewable:
Can be easily renewed after years of usage.
Impact resistance:
Much more resilient than natural stone
Fire retardance:
It is fire retardant, will not burn into flame, minor burn mark can be easily removed.
Workable like wood:
Corian® can be fabricated like hardwood, using similar tools.
